# Add a user to a group

In order to use and access CIIM, your user will need to belong to one or more Groups.

Click on Groups in the left hand menu to see the groups screen.

Choose the group that you want to add your new member to.

Click on Add member.

You'll see a popup with a list of users who are not already members of the group.

Tick the box next to the new user to add them to the group.

Click Add to add them to the group.

Return to the Users screen, select your user and go to the Groups tab to confirm that yor new user has been added to the correct group.
