# Refine by data types and status

## Data types

Below the main search fields, the **data types box** will show you how many of your current results are object records and how many represent agents (generally, organisations, museums etc). 

Clicking on either icon will toggle whether you see the results from that set.

## Data status

Using the **data status box**, you can quickly filter for records with different statuses. The different statuses are:

- Public
- Unavailable
- Invalid
- Retained
- Recalled
- Private
- Draft

Clicking on a status icon will filter your current search results to show only records with that status. Clicking on it again will toggle back to make all records in your current search results.
