# Record details

The details tab gives you an overview of the contents of a single record. By default you can see four sections: identifiers for the object in your collection, titles, names and descriptions.

The internal navigation on the left allows you to find each one of these sections individually, if the record is long.

There are two dropdowns at the top of the individual record.

The first is labelled ‘show data from’ and allows you to see what data from this record is available at each access level.

The second is labelled ‘Using Template’ and controls what data from the record you see in this view. The default ‘Object Template’ gives you the details outlined above.

You can also create your own custom template, using the tools to the right of the template dropdown.
