# The task pane

The **task pane** shows a list of all the data sets in the system and allows you to carry out data extraction on them.

For each dataset in the list, you will see:

- The **name** of the dataset
- An **execute task now** button (seen on hover) that executes the extraction.
- An **edit task button** (seen on hover) that schedules an extraction.
- A **toggle** that can be turned off to prevent re-processing of the data by other scheduled tasks
