# The task pane

The task pane shows a list of all the data sets in the system and allows you to carry out data extraction on them.

For each dataset in the list, you will see:

The name of the dataset
An execute task now button (seen on hover) that executes the extraction.
An edit task button (seen on hover) that schedules an extraction.
A toggle that can be turned off to prevent re-processing of the data by other scheduled tasks
