Standard Package: An indicative cost based on a typical installation containing up to 2 million records starts at around £500 per calendar month (+ VAT). Please note that CIIM Support is costed separately and is not part of this figure.

# What We Manage (Provider Responsibilities)

This standard package includes our team managing:

Infrastructure & Hosting: Provisioning, monitoring, and management of all cloud server infrastructure.
CIIM Software Management: Installation, configuration, and continuous updates of all core CIIM components (Core, Management Interface, Rosetta).
Security & Compliance:
- Network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
- SSL certificates.
Backups & Disaster Recovery: Regular, automated backups of your data and configuration with a defined recovery plan.
Performance & Uptime:
- Proactive monitoring to ensure high availability.

# What You Manage (Customer Responsibilities)

As the customer, you remain in full control of your data and configuration:

Your Data: You are the owner of your data. Your responsibilities include data quality, curation, and accuracy.
System Configuration: Using the CIIM Management Interface to:
- Configure your synchronisation schedules.
- Build and manage record view templates.
- Takedown problematic records.
User Management: Creating, managing, and assigning permissions for your institution's users.
Source Systems: Maintaining your own collection management systems, digital asset management systems, or other data sources that CIIM connects to.
Firewall & Network Access: You are responsible for configuring your institution's firewalls and network security policies to permit secure access from our CIIM SaaS platform (e.g., by allow-listing our static IP addresses) to your internal collections systems, DAMS, or other data sources.
